Regarding Reported Save Data Issues

We are currently looking into and investigating reported save data issues for "Rise of the Ronin" steam edition.

changedWe have found cases where changing the Windows Security Settings would solve the issues regarding save data.
fixedCheck Windows Security settings Please check and change the settings per instructions below to see if the issue is resolved. 1. Windows settings > Privacy and Security (Update and Security on windows 10) > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection 2. Click on Manage settings under Virus & threat protection settings 3. Click on Manage Controlled folder access, under Controlled foldeer access 4. If "Controlled folder access" is on, click on Allow an app through Controlled folder access > Add an allowed app > Browse all apps, and add Ronin.exe * The install location of "Ronin.exe" can be found through right clicking "Rise of the Ronin" on the steam library, or to click on Manage > Browse local files.

For example, if the game is installed to the D drive, the save data would be stored in the folder location as follows: D:\Savedata

Please try relocating the folder above, to the intended folder location: \Users\user-name\Documents\KoeiTecmo\Ronin\Savedata
