I'm excited that Rise 2.0 is finally on Steam. It's really cool to see my game on this platform but I just wanted to leave an announcement for everyone. The game in its current state is fully functional and plays just how I intended it to BUT the Steam side of the functionality is not there right now. Please understand that if you buy and play Rise 2.0 today you will see that:
Cloud saves are not implemented
The Steam overlay will not pause the game when activated
Achievements will not be unlocked on steam, only in the game
I understand that there may also be some issues related to controller use with menus along with some other minor bugs. These and the Steam issues will be solved in the near future but I cannot give a date as to when. I plan to continue working on improving the game after release and depending on recommendations from the community, I may even add new features as time goes on.
