Greetings, Operators!

Our work on the Alpha build for Riot Operator is as busy as ever! Right now we are focused on adding new equipment and features for existing units. A great example of such equipment is a barrier that prevents the crowd from passing through a certain area.

Barriers

The barriers have some interesting features that are unique to them:

  • A barrier can block the crowd, but it has its limits. If the crowd gets too big, it is possible to destroy the barrier.

  • The more barriers you buy for the police unit placing the barrier, the longer barrier you can create. Placing barriers in strategic places will make your job way easier!

Early visualization

Below is the video with an early version of the barrier, showcasing its utility! Right now, it is quite short from the visual perspective and we plan to change the look of it slightly, but you can see how the general process of using a barrier will look in the game. If you have any feedback about it, please feel free to let us know!

Best regards, Riot Operator Team
