addedTesting a new game in Tabletop Simulator Before we started building Ringleaders we wanted to ensure the core game was solid, fun, and playable.
changedIn order to test this with a large group we created a “paper” prototype using Tabletop Simulator—a digital board game with preliminary gameplay mechanics to test out concepts before building them into a full 3D space. This abstraction allowed us to define a ruleset, verify its entertainment value, and iterate in a rapid, low-stakes way before building out the game in Unity, playtesting it with players ranging from 20-50 years old.
changedThe game was well received overall and that's when we moved into stage two: building the base of the game in Unity.
