Repeated intro

Hey folks, today's update is focused on improving the Tutorial. One of RIG Riot's biggest weaknesses is that it does not explain itself well, so I'm trying to improve that. Even if you've played the tutorial already I suggest taking another run through, just in case. Let me know what you think and what you would improve- I assume there is still some iteration to do.

changedAlso, a personal note: today marks 1 week since the launch of RIG Riot's demo, and I continue to be blown away by the love and support I'm seeing for the game. As of yesterday the game's wishlists are DOUBLE what they were before the launch of the demo, and that's a pretty big deal. Thank you all for being excited about RIG Riot, it means the world and I can't wait to show you what else I have in store.
changedImproved the Tutorial (Better explanations, videos of mechanics, and easy future reference in the Pilot Manual)
addedAdded a tutorial for Part Mods
changedAdjusted the background color of menus to make them easier to look at
fixedFixed Chain Lightning creating an infinite loop and crashing the game
fixedNote: Chain lightning can proc itself, which is pretty dangerous. However, it's also cool, so the solution was to reduce the proc chance for each separate self-chain-proc instead of totally removing the self-proc. This of course can still cause performance fluctuations but it should no longer cause a crash due to infinite loops.

Changes

  • Improved the Tutorial (Better explanations, videos of mechanics, and easy future reference in the Pilot Manual)

  • Added a tutorial for Part Mods

  • Adjusted the background color of menus to make them easier to look at

  • Minimum roughness when personalizing your RIG is now 0.3

Note: If your RIG turns a weird yellow color upon entering your runs you will probably want to adjust your customization since this change is not retroactive

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Chain Lightning creating an infinite loop and crashing the game

Note: Chain lightning can proc itself, which is pretty dangerous. However, it's also cool, so the solution was to reduce the proc chance for each separate self-chain-proc instead of totally removing the self-proc. This of course can still cause performance fluctuations but it should no longer cause a crash due to infinite loops.

  • Fixed Assault Sentry firing 3-round bursts
