Ignoring all the bumps and challenges along the way, I want to say - THANK YOU to everyone who helped with anything - testing, ideas, art and soundtrack.
changedUser experienceOut of all the bumps we expected along the way, making the user experience good was unexpectedly the hardest- and we're not sure we have done a great job to this day. We essentially spent 8 months refining main menu and different views users interact with - and it kept getting harder and harder to design something worthy. Even the smallest elements, such as volume knobs, proved that given bad positioning, can interfere with critical parts of the game.

Iteration #2

Small labels, animations, everything had to be refined to the smallest details.

Iteration #2

We took our time to even redesign entire screens. The hardest thing is to accept that something is bad and you need to rewrite it fully and insist on high standards.

We hope these screenshots give you some insight into the insanely difficult design process of Rhythia, and we hope you'll enjoy the game and help us reach the best experience possible! See you on 20th of February.
