12/23/2021 Important Notice + Patch notes for Rewrite+

!Very important!

You will need to restart your Steam client to pick up new exe configurations

There’s a series of steps you need to take to make sure your saves are compatible with this update.

To make your saves compatible you will need to do the following:

1. Right click on Rewrite+

2. Choose properties

3. Click Beta

4. Choose “legacy” branch

5. Launch Rewrite+, selector box should show up choose "Rewrite+ Legacy Branch", saves should work

This should allow you to continue to use your saves and finish the game with our latest fixes. However if that does not work you will need to follow the instructions below.

If you did not opt in to the staging branch you will need to do the following:

1. Right click on Rewrite+

2. Choose properties

3. Click Beta

4. Choose “step1” branch

5. Launch Rewrite+, selector box should show up choose "Rewrite+ step1 Branch", close game

6. Right click on Rewrite+

7. Choose properties

8. Click Beta

9. Choose “legacy” branch

10. Launch Rewrite+, selector box should show up choose "Rewrite+ Legacy Branch", saves should work

If the game still refuses to load your save please do the following:

1. Right click on Rewrite+

2. Choose properties

3. Click Beta

4. Choose “backup” branch

5. Launch Rewrite+, selector box should show up choose "Rewrite+ backup Branch", load save that does not work, skip a few lines, save to a new file, close game

6. Right click on Rewrite+

7. Choose properties

8. Click Beta

9. Choose “step1” branch

10. Launch Rewrite+, selector box should show up choose "Rewrite+ step1 Branch", close game

11. Right click on Rewrite+

12. Choose properties

13. Click Beta

14. Choose “legacy” branch

15. Launch Rewrite+, selector box should show up choose "Rewrite+ Legacy Branch", saves should work

If it still does not work, it means you did not skip enough lines. You can also try an autosave to try to continue past the saves that are not loading.

If you never launched the game you do not need to do anything. If you just bought the game after this post you also don’t need to do anything.

We cannot test every single scenario for your saves due to how the game engine handles save files.

• Temporary removed English Localization credits and Kickstarter backers, will be readded in another patch

• Changed default font to Kosugi Maru
