Ongoing Work: Major Improvements in Progress

We want to be transparent - there are two major areas we’re actively addressing:

  • Late-game performance degradation

  • Employee AI (especially restocking behavior)

We’re currently performing a significant under-the-hood overhaul to tackle both.

Progress update:

  • ~25% complete

  • Development velocity is increasing

Our goal is to have these fully addressed by the RentNet Update (late June) - or sooner if possible.

What’s Next?

Pier 67 Update (Late May Target)

  • New minigames

  • New rewards

  • …and maybe something extra at the casino đź‘€

RentNet Update (Late June Target)

  • Major performance optimizations

  • Full Employee AI overhaul

  • Controller + Steam Deck support

  • First wave of localization (languages TBD)

Final Notes

We’re continuing to expand:

  • Movie Mixing content

  • Store decorations

  • Player cosmetics

As always, your feedback is shaping the direction of Rewind 99- keep it coming.
