Ongoing Work: Major Improvements in Progress
We want to be transparent - there are two major areas we’re actively addressing:
Late-game performance degradation
Employee AI (especially restocking behavior)
We’re currently performing a significant under-the-hood overhaul to tackle both.
Progress update:
~25% complete
Development velocity is increasing
Our goal is to have these fully addressed by the RentNet Update (late June) - or sooner if possible.
What’s Next?
Pier 67 Update (Late May Target)
New minigames
New rewards
…and maybe something extra at the casino 👀
RentNet Update (Late June Target)
Major performance optimizations
Full Employee AI overhaul
Controller + Steam Deck support
First wave of localization (languages TBD)
Final Notes
We’re continuing to expand:
Movie Mixing content
Store decorations
Player cosmetics
As always, your feedback is shaping the direction of Rewind 99- keep it coming.
