Bingo Brawl has arrived đź’Ą

It’s here! Our newest game mode is now available to select from the main menu once you boot up Revenge of the Savage Planet.

Imagine bingo with grannies and those dobber-pen-thingies, then replace the grannies with your friend and the dobbers with outer space whips. Sounds cool, right?

Take on a wide variety of tasks, set up in randomized 3x3 grids, either online or splitscreen with a partner and battle to see who takes the Bingo Brawl crown.

And you’ll want to stay tuned for the next bit…

Up for a challenge? 🏆

🚨 COMPETITION KLAXON 🚨

To celebrate the launch of our Bingo Brawl mode, we’re also announcing a community challenge which starts RIGHT NOW and runs until December 17th!

There are two key milestones which every single explorer is responsible for. Each Bingo Brawl game played will count towards unlocking:

🏆 20,000 matches - A new habitat trophy

đź‘• 100,000 matches - The original Journey to the Savage Planet skin

Forget free pizza Friday, this is hands down the best company incentive ever invented. Period.

Full patch notes 📝

And without further ado, here’s absolutely everything we’ve tweaked as part of our latest update 👇

New Content

  • Bingo Brawl mode

  • Yooka-Laylee outfit

Fixes

  • Fixed bad collisions around and below the dead hollow tree where we show the sprint+jump tutorial

  • When playing co-op, players can no longer get stuck by the other player calling a creature pen down on top of their head

  • Fixed activating the Habitat upgrade cutscene while another player is collecting Orange Goo; the player interacting with the orange goo no longer teleports under the map

  • Player's Character no longer falls under the map after dying mid-air due to burning in the Shama Lama Prototype Suit

  • Fixed death animations not playing from the client's PoV

  • Fixed improper VO playing if the player reapproaches the first Orange Goo they ate during the tutorial

  • Fixed the base holding three Metallic Chunks not being scannable

  • In splitscreen, fixed throw trajectory not being visible for player 2 if they chose the right side of screen

  • Mitoslimes can now be frozen and killed while frozen, including with Metallic Chunks

  • We now properly cancel any puffer's attack by kicking or whipping it

  • Some corrupted creatures can now be captured, but only in Bingo mode

  • In Habitat Customization, the fire on Castle Candles is now properly tinted by scanning mode

  • Updated all neon signs collision in Habitat Customization

  • Improved the cursor behaviour when re-opening the map, and made sure we don’t display a white placeholder image in certain circumstances

  • Fixed the Player’s icon on the compass sometimes turning into a black square after traveling to a new Planet for the first time

  • Lowered other player’s icon almost at ground level so the characters are not entirely covered by it most of the time… now that you’ll probably need to shoot each other.

  • 3D Printer menu: when using a mouse, don't hide the upgrade description panel when the cursor isn't hovering one of the upgrade pucks, to allow scrolling that description with mouse wheel

  • Fixed a few scrolling text issues when using the keyboard arrows to navigate menus

  • Fixed the Halloween Masks not being named as intended

  • Fixed an incorrect label on the 'Wash'n'Win' neon sign in French

  • Fixed missing translation for 'Classic', present on the Continue button, in all languages except English
