Reus 2 changes
We're delighted to announce to you that since this week, Reus 2 is officially Deck Verified. With the recent Nikko update, we released an official gamepad adaptation, along with the necessary interface changes to support both Steam Deck and any Controller.
You’ll find the following features:
Automatic gamepad detection: The game will notice when a gamepad or a mouse is being used, and changes control scheme and prompts (aka glyphs) accordingly. This can be turned off from the Settings menu.
- New control schemeWe created new flows for performing giant abilities, and navigation menus. By default the cursor will jump between interface elements, supported by shortcuts. By clicking down on the left control stick, you can toggle to a virtual cursor for free navigation.
- 130% interface scalingThis is enabled by default on Steam Deck, and can be useful on television+controller setup as well. On 130% the game automatically scales up small texts as well. Both interface scale and text scale can be configured in the settings menu.
Controller and Deck support is a new adventure for us. We’re grateful to be able to do this alongside the community. Alpha and beta tests have helped us iterate through a lot of versions. And we hope you’ll keep sharing your feedback.
