Retro Soccer changes
]A lot of work has gone on behind the scenes to get the first FULL release of Retro Soccer ready with all teams and players database for World Cups and Euros between 86 and 96 now complete.
As part of the on going development I noticed a number of UI bugs which I fixed and also had a request to speed up the game-play to bring it more in line with the speed found in the classic Sensible Soccer for the Amiga.
So included in the new Demo version... I have updated the Demo to include all bug fixes for UI and game-play along with the game-play speed increase. If its a little too much for you it can always be toned-down in the Settings menu.
Goal keeper intelligence has also been improved although this is an on going process and more work will be done in this area.
What's Next? With the team & player database now out of the way I can get back to focusing on the game-play which includes introducing fouls, freekicks, penalties, injuries and red / yellow cards.
Known Issues The keeper sometimes looks like he plucks the ball out of the air when its a bit too far away. I once saw the ball go out of play near the goal but it didn't register and the ball was brought back in to play and a goal scored - VAR are looking in to it.
If you notice any bugs or have any feedback then please head over to the forums and let me know.
Thanks!
