Retail Therapy changes
Over the last few weeks we have been monitoring the playtime of the different maps along with taking notes on player feedback as they were playing the game via streaming, we found the festival was without a doubt the most played map, the other maps rarely were played.
We also found the supermarket was not having the correct impression on our players as the default map so this needed to be changed, we went back and designed the map from the ground up with the ethos of having a supermarket themed map rather than a map that is a supermarket!
As for the patch notes for those of you who don't wanna read the reasons here you go!
Map Changes:
All maps now have a map wipe!! Supermarket now has an Acid rain and the restaurant has a Kitchen fire. Not really the most safe environments....
Trampolines have been added into the supermarket
[The supermarket has been fully redesigned to include a large amount of vertical movement and less linear sight-lines.
Restaurant now has a significantly reduced amount of clutter for better movement and AI pathing
UI Changes:
Restart shift button has now been added in so if you don't wanna go home and wanna repeat the hell you now can you sadist!!
Weapon Changes:
Bus gun screen-shake reduced
Katana attack speed increased by 0.2.... again... we wanted more stabby
General Bug Fixes:
Sound for enemy was playing on character not enemies which has been resolved
Festival issue with bollard has been resolved
Achievement for the confetti gun has now been resolved as it was not showing up
