Ingame Leaderboards Finally Here!

It is a pleasure to announce that Steam leaderboards are now fully integrated into the game. This was much requested, understandably so because a score attack game like Rescue: The Beagles is not really complete without easily accessible global leaderboards.

This update also brings some other neat features. Complete list follows below:

• Steam leaderboards fully integrated into the game. The game now displays top 10 global scores for single player and co-op modes, as well as user's current rank and score in the leaderboards. Due to game's simplistic font rendering system, only ascii characters are supported in displayed names. Non-ascii glyph will be replaced asterisks.

• Controls cheatsheet displayed when game is paused to help novice players to ease-in. It shows keyboard and gamepads control schemes.

• Deadly height indicator now defaults to visible. Height falls are the most common form of death for newcomers and this indicator can be of great help in learning to gauge safe heights.

• Vegetation and particles rendering optimizations. The game should now perform a bit better on lower end graphics cards.

• Bugs in player movement system that appeared on lower frame rates are now fixed.
