So… what was happening behind the scenes while we were keeping quiet? Here’s the answer 👇

Preparing the playtest & third mission

This month, the team focused on a big polish phase.

We fixed many bugs and made lots of adjustments following feedback from our private playtests. The goal was clear: deliver the smoothest and most enjoyable experience possible for this first public playtest. And it represented a lot of work!

We also wanted to bring new content for those who had already tested the game. That’s why we finalized a brand-new third mission, now available in the playtest.

New mechanic: the water cannon

We’ve had this mechanic in mind since the very beginning of the project.

We wanted to let you operate a water cannon directly from the truck, allowing you to fight the flames in a more immersive and strategic way. We set ourselves the goal of including it for this public playtest… and now it’s finally here!

You really need to try this in-game. PSHHHHH 💦

Art updates

Our artists worked on the water cannon you just saw… but that’s not all.

They’re also making progress on a brand-new area that we’ll implement into the engine later on. This includes creating lots of new environment assets that will enrich our current map.

Here’s a small hint to keep you guessing before we reveal more (probably next month): ⛺

Don’t forget to jump into the playtest to get a feel for the project while waiting for Early Access.

Your feedback truly matters to us. Share your suggestions and bugs you see on Discord to help us prioritize our next tasks and improve the experience. We can’t wait to read what you think.

We hope your March is filled with sunshine!
