It's been quite a long time since we posted our last devlog right? Many things have changed and we have exciting news for you!
Rendezvous: Shadows of the Past demo now cover Neo-Surabaya for a limited time!
Yes, we hear you all! You want to see the Neo-Surabaya right?
You can now experience the Wonokromo part of Neo-Surabaya in the limited-time prologue demo of our Cyber-Noir adventure. Available free from
January - February 2023

The Wonokromo
In the limited demo, we bring you the Wonokromo. A place where you can find the remnants of the old world and tradition crashed with technological advancement that has overtaken the city. Here you can find preman thugs, a workshop with cannibalized stuff, cyberunner gangs doing their things, and many more!
Some said you can find the infamous thieves' market somewhere near the station in Wonokromo, both in Neo-Surabaya and the real-life Surabaya. You can find thieves, ordinary citizens, to police officers in this place, not doing any arrests. Interesting situation huh? Anything you want or need to find, just ask the fencer, he’ll probably gonna get you some in no time. With the right price of course.
A great place to find nighttime street foods. You might wanna try some martabak, lalapan, and mie ayam.
Development Progress
From the street of Bay City to the Sea Wall of Neo-Surabaya, we have already detailed the environments of cyberpunk cities. We’ve completed the settings, balanced the game, and fixed some bugs, audio, and translations.
We heard your feedback and we try to bring the best Rendezvous experience to you. While the combat itself isn’t a big focus in the game, we’ve balanced the stealth and combat gameplay.
Fixed some bugs, glitches, and English localization. Many thanks to Tautheory for his part in localizing and proofreading the game into English! We also fixed some audio where you can’t hear some of the character's voices during cutscenes.

I think that’s all I can tell you right now. I have a story to share about the Neo-Surabaya and its development, but that’s for the next devlog okay? Great!
