We`re happy to be returning to updating RKW after a brief pause. Over the past few months, we've been making a lot of improvements to the game engine while also working on future projects — and now we’re excited to start bringing those improvements back into RKW. This marks the beginning of a new round of updates that will help improve performance, stability, and overall gameplay.
Today’s update is mostly focused on backend work to lay the foundation for more content and fixes coming soon. That said, there are also some key improvements players will notice right away — especially around game stability, offline mode, and overall polish.
Let’s dive into the highlights of this week's update:
Fixed MAJOR issue causing game to crash in several scenarios
Fixed infamous crash between loading screens
Fixed common crash when returning from battles to the world map
Offline mode is now default and permanent
Removed various prompts across different menus asking players to constantly log in
Fixed a lot of issues related to the player becoming King
Dozens of minor fixes and improvements in the tutorial
Renamed some cities on the world map
Improvements to first-time installation of the game and fixed a rare crash issue
Some reduction in loading time of hamlets
