changedController SupportOne of the larger additions we've been working on is controller support.
changedController SupportA big part of the challenge was preserving the feeling that you're directing another person rather than just directly controlling a character. After seeing some testers get hands-on with it recently, we're really happy with how it's shaping up. It keeps a lot of the tension and indirect control of the typing system while offering a different way to experience the game.

Development Update

Hey everyone! Today we wanted to share some more about what we've been working on behind the scenes.

First off, thank you to everyone who has played the demo and left feedback. We've been building on your observations as we push onwards towards launch.

Controller Support

One of the larger additions we've been working on is controller support.

A big part of the challenge was preserving the feeling that you're directing another person rather than just directly controlling a character. After seeing some testers get hands-on with it recently, we're really happy with how it's shaping up. It keeps a lot of the tension and indirect control of the typing system while offering a different way to experience the game.

A New Beginning

We've also been reworking the opening of the game.

One of the core themes of Remote Control is exploitation, and we wanted the opening to better communicate that you're performing a job rather than embarking on a traditional adventure.

You'll be exploring Plutus Corporation soon, and fans of our previous title CorpoNation may even notice a familiar method of transportation make a return!

Reducing Friction

Another feature we've recently added is command auto-complete.

The goal is to reduce unnecessary typing friction while keeping the core fantasy intact. As you type, the system can now predict commands and allow you to quickly complete them with a single key press.

Building Better Moments

One thing we knew when publishing the initial demo was how many situations and scenarios we could start to expand on. We're constantly looking for opportunities and have implemented a few new encounters that'll stick with you!

More on that later!

For now, thanks for reading and be sure to join the Discord for more updates!
