Relocat changes
Hi!
Over the past six months, Relocat has grown a lot. We’ve added many new mini-games, activities, and small details that we’d like to share with you.
Mini-games and activities
During this time, we’ve added several new things to do:
ice skating races — take part in races on the ice and compete with other characters;
cooking — Inki will be able to prepare different dishes;
fishing — a calm activity for moments when you just want to slow down a little;
a vinyl player — listen to music at home;
records — buy vinyl records and change the background music in the apartment;
furniture and apartment customization — buy items and gradually make your new place feel more cozy.

Inki’s apartment
We’ve also spent a lot of time working on the apartment.
At first, it’s just a temporary place to stay in a new city, but over time you’ll be able to make it feel more lived-in:
buy furniture;
add new items;
change the atmosphere of the room;
play music on the vinyl player;
collect records;
make the space feel a little more like your own.
We wanted to show how the feeling of home doesn’t appear all at once, but slowly — through small actions and the things Inki chooses for himself.
Story and quests
The game follows Inki’s move to a new city.
You can expect:
homesickness;
attempts to get used to an unfamiliar place;
meeting the locals;
personal stories of different characters;
new friends;
difficult choices;
searching for an answer to the question of what home really means.

Game structure
The full version of Relocat will include:
3 chapters;
several endings;
main and side quests;
mini-games and activities;
characters with their own stories;
choices that affect Inki’s journey.
The story will unfold gradually: from moving to a new place and trying to settle in, to more personal decisions about the future.
What’s next
Right now, we’re continuing to bring everything together into one complete experience:
polishing quests;
refining scenes;
tuning mini-games;
balancing activities;
editing dialogues;
adding small details to the city;
working on the feeling of Inki’s final journey.
We want to make the story warm, a little sad, and sometimes a bit chaotic — a story about moving away, growing up, and searching for a place you can call home.
Thank you for following the development of Relocat. Steam post image
