changedImproved performance of a lot of weapons, projectiles and other game elements.
changedOptimized and balanced a lot of weapons, for more info, see the ‘Balancing’ section. In short: Generally, the max amount of projectiles on screen have been reduced. So properties like the maximum number of projectiles, splitting and fire rate have been nerfed. To compensate for these changes, damage has been buffed on these weapons.
changedThe Luck-upgrade increases the chance a weapon has a higher level than the level you found it in (i.e. level 50 normally drops level 45-52 weapons, with maximized luck this is increased this to 50-57).
addedYou can now change the scale of the combat text in the options menu under gameplay.
addedAdded area specific loading-screens with a little more background story about the bosses.

  • Improved performance of a lot of weapons, projectiles and other game elements.

  • Optimized and balanced a lot of weapons, for more info, see the ‘Balancing’ section. In short: Generally, the max amount of projectiles on screen have been reduced. So properties like the maximum number of projectiles, splitting and fire rate have been nerfed. To compensate for these changes, damage has been buffed on these weapons.

  • When you play on the three highest difficulty levels, the level of the items you find will also increase. (based on kill-percentage)

  • The Luck-upgrade increases the chance a weapon has a higher level than the level you found it in (i.e. level 50 normally drops level 45-52 weapons, with maximized luck this is increased this to 50-57).

  • You can now change the scale of the combat text in the options menu under gameplay.

  • Added area specific loading-screens with a little more background story about the bosses.

    • The drones no longer shoot at all targets that are in range. Instead it gets a target and will only attack this target, until it is either killed or out of reach.

    • Decreased max amount of drones

    • Increased drone starting damage and scaling

  • Improvements:

  • Daisy (desert boss) projectiles now have their own impact graphical effect.

  • Improved the looks of the flamethrower DoT.

  • Improved object pooling; increasing performance.

  • Changed the name of the industrial area to ‘Titan Corporation’.

  • Reduced the amount of log outputs, saves disc space.

  • Tweaked speed of weapon placement when using the controller.

  • Tweaked deadzone of weapon rotation when using the controller.

  • Implemented d-pad hint in hangar.

  • Improved graphics of the survival area in level select.

  • Small graphical improvements to the intro and outro scene.

  • Help system dismiss button is now always displayed.

  • Text on generic buttons is now centered.

  • When you’re placing a weapon, the weapons on your ship become slightly transparent.

  • Improved desert miniboss death animation.

  • Minor changes to water area background (for Thomas).

  • Ending cutscene credits now ends earlier (after the credits have rolled out).

  • Bugs:

  • Fixed a bug where it was possible to change area when a level was already starting.

  • Fixed a bug where play session data wouldn't get reset properly when quitting the game, resulting in possible lockups on a lower level profile.
