New Reframements (+teasers!)

Hi! Many things happened since the last month's devlog. I have tons of cool announcements and teasers! Let's get to it:

Ability upgrades!

Use your unlock points to upgrade your abilities to the next level! You may get increased damage, longer effects on success, but also completely new side effects! Yes, even the final punch can be upgraded. Embrace the chaos!

Brand new battle QTEs!

Depending on what ability you use, you'll get different battle QTEs. As opposed to just the circle that you get now. The circle will see some improvements, too, but mostly visually. The more you upgrade the ability, the more difficult the QTE will get! Here's one of them. I made a gif!

Steam post image Hangouts will have consequences.

While hanging out with someone, you'll be presented with tons of choices. Dialog options will have a major impact, but other things like battle outcomes and your approach to quests will also have a decisive role in changing the character's story. It may also have an impact on the game's ending...

For instance, the happy and outgoing Lera may either choose to embrace her ways of life or completely reinvent herself, get a job and start studying properly. All as the result of your actions. Pauline, Venya, and other (yet to be revealed) characters will change, too!

In the demo, you can hang out with Venya. Or Pauline. But What if you could hang out with both at the same time? You'll go for walks, explore weird places, get in trouble, and celebrate a birthday. You'll get to discover their secrets, thoughts, and influence their lives.

The mysterious book.

The Reframe book will have a new use. After hanging out with some of the characters, you'll be able to give this book to them! It will have an unpredictable influence on their story and may change their ending in all sorts of ways. Or you can just keep it to yourself and see what happens.
