addedI. Game Mode 1.New game modes: Naval Academy, Versus Mode, Marine Club, and Naval Research Lab. 2.The Naval Academy mode, including Training Field and Sim Battlefield, is meant for newcomers and casual players. 3.The Versus Mode, including Solo Ranked and Team Ranked, is meant for competitive players. 4.The Marine Club is meant for some of the hardcore players, and is unavailable during this patch. Special Mode and Premium Mode will be released in future patches. 5.The Naval Research Lab is a limited-time game mode, with lots of events to follow. When the patch launches, the Destroyer Versus Mode will be available for a limited period of time. 6.In the Destroyer Versus Mode, up to 24 players are allowed to join a single match, with 3 players in each team, and only destroyers are allowed to be used. Players are pit against one another in two factions, and can score by capturing resource points on the map. At the end of a match, the faction with higher scores claims victory and receives amazing rewards. Upon death, players can be revived before re-engaging in the battle.
addedII. Gameplay 1. New weather system. Weather events, e.g. clear, rainy, snowy days, have been added to the Versus Mode, with more events to come in the future. Different weather events grant warships unique statuses. For example, ships can be slowed, and main battery damage is affected by weather. 2. Instead of looting supply crates, players now have direct access to in-game items that are scattered across the seas. 3. By holding Ctrl, players can now choose to display cursor and view some of the in-game information. 4. Improved the control and prompt messages of wire-guided torpedo. 5. New in-game navigation system. Players may open the map and enable this feature. 6. Balanced warship stats. 7. Changed the storm's shrinking time in the Versus Mode and Sim Battlefield.
addedIII. Equipment System 1. The traditional six equipment modules have been changed into four modules: Fire Control System, Defense System, Maneuvering System, and Recon System. 2. Added General Equipment category to the Fire Control System. General Equipment has no limit to the number of warships, which allows for full customization. 3. In the Fire Control System, main battery, secondary battery, and torpedo ammo now count as consumables that can be purchased out of battles or looted in battles. 4. All armaments, except the default green main battery, can only fire with loaded ammos. 5. Added a new equipment category—Control Tower 6. Added new general equipment Dumaresq (Allows players to aim at targets in advance.) 7. Removed the Torpedo Launcher module from battleships. 8. Removed the default green equipment from warships (main battery excluded). 9. Removed the equipment category Signal Flag.
addedIV. New Munition System 1. The new munition system includes Quick Repair Module, Intermediate Post-battle Repair System, and Advanced Urgent Recovery System. 2. Munitions can be purchased in the Store and equipped out of battle, or looted in-battle.
addedV. New Rank Achievement System The new rank achievement system allows players to earn medals of honor by completing specified achievements. Players can edit the medals of their choice. A rank display system will be launched in the follow-up updates.
addedVI. About Military Rank 1. The rank system is renamed "Military Rank." 2. Added promotion quests for military ranks. Upon reaching specific points, players can complete promotion quests and ascend to a higher military rank. 3. Added a guarantee system to the military rank. After players complete the promotion quest, they won't ever fall back to the original military rank.
