UPDATE 1 FULL CHANGELIST -

Two new levels, visual improvements, bug fixes and more!

NEW STUFF

  • New level - Black Pines

  • New Level - Sodden Isle

  • Lesson guides in tutorial levels

  • Waypointer system - A disembodied goblin hand will now beckon you towards your objectives

  • Respawn checkpoints in tutorials

  • Added new NPC notification to show when they’re searching for a player

CHANGES

  • Score removed from the game, instead we’ll be using time to grade your skill

  • New model and sounds for the Sawmill

  • Tutorial 1, Tutorial 2 and Windy Creek cutscene updates

  • Increased interact range for lantern relighting

  • Rebalanced level resource values

  • Buffed and nerfed the destruction of different resources depending on the level

  • Added a slight cooldown on picking up bananas (sorry, banana spammers)

  • Main menu screen updates

  • Level descriptions, new entries for Sodden Isle and Black Pines

  • Improved line of sight detection on NPC AI

  • There is now a confirmation screen when wiping save game

  • Adjusted Bomb sound effect

  • Population icon updated

  • Tree stump model updated

  • Tree regrowth time increased

  • Plague doctor has had his vaccines and is no longer susceptible to disease

  • Villagers and player are now “blown” back off of bridges when they are destroyed to prevent them being stuck

  • Resource cart will now only stop if the player stand in front of it, not behind or beside it

  • Each level town now has a unique statue

  • Resources now have upper and lower limits (999 and 0)

FIXES

  • Fixed an issue where day/night system was desyncing from on screen clock

  • Tutorial 2 will no longer end prematurely

  • Fixed an issue where “Trip Villagers” objective would appear in other levels than Tutorial 2

  • Bonus objectives fixed in Tutorial 2

  • Tutorial 2 “burning woods” cutscene is now skippable, and no longer breaks when using a bomb to set fire to trees

  • Fixed an issue where players could not infect well after infecting wheat (and vice versa)

  • Lanterns now reliably turn on/off at the beginning of night and day

  • Bridges shouldn't be misaligned after being rebuilt.

  • Fixed an issue where villagers were immune to the toxic slick

  • Event “!” Icon will no longer show on clock if there are no events that day

  • Various audio and voiceline fixes

  • NPC knockout fixes:

  • NPCs can now no longer recover from being knocked down

  • NPCs can now no longer speak when knocked down

  • Witch mission values can no longer increase above the target value, not decrease below 0

  • Bananas and Toxic Slicks are now more reliable and have a smaller “trip” range

  • Various AI improvements
