addedToday marks the first anniverary of the last signal received from NASA's Opportunity Rover on Mars. To honor a fallen explorer, I've added Opportunity to the Victoria Crater map. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RL8RRzt7WIo Red Rover’s 2.2 update adds the ability to pilot the Mars Exploration Rover “Opportunity” around Victoria Crater. Follow along and watch as Oppy retraces its path around the rim of the crater, or take control and explore as Opportunity! Our MER has been slightly modified for in-game driving - 20-30 mph top speed, compared to an average of 20 meters/day on good days. Hit the backslash key (‘\’) to see an overlay of Opportunity’s traverse path along the rim of Victoria Crater. Pressing F when in range will transition you from your SherpRover to MER. Happy driving!
