addedAhoy captains! In this new patch, we focused on several of the Quality of Life improvements that many of you have been asking for, while also packing in a good number of bug fixes, balance improvements, and general polish. This update should make battles easier to read, faster to play when desired, and more consistent across different combat situations.
changedArtillery Accuracy PreviewWhen firing an artillery card, the total accuracy value is now shown while hovering the mouse over every possible target.
changedArtillery Accuracy PreviewThis means that factors such as weather conditions, the shooter’s profession, card modifiers, and other relevant combat conditions are now computed directly in the preview. It should now be much easier to understand at a glance how likely a shot is to land before committing to it.
addedSpeed Up Battle AnimationsA new option has been added to the settings menu that allows battle animations to be played at x2 speed by default. Additionally, the existing option to speed up animations by clicking the mouse has been increased to x3. Many players asked for faster battle pacing, so this should help make repeated encounters and longer fights feel much snappier.
fixedBug Fixes and Overall ImprovementsFixed a bug that could cause a crash when visiting boss locations.
fixedBug Fixes and Overall ImprovementsFixed a bug that could cause a softlock with some tactic cards when pressing the play and cancel card keybinds in quick succession.
