Weapons

The Enlarger

Introducing the Enlarger, an extension that turns projectiles humongous:

Telescope changes

The Telescope extension got another unique trait: It makes all projectile types shoot straight. With it equipped, hats become precise missiles, and the coil lightning fires in a straight line.

Tether changes

In response to various bits of feedback, we reworked the Tether body so that its wire now attaches by throwing it onto a surface instead of freezing your movement and placing it down right where you stand. This should make it much more forgiving to use.

Matchmaking and gamemodes

For easier matchmaking, we added a queuing system that places you in the first available lobby with your chosen gamemode. This will make it easier to find matches, even with few active players.

We added a system for customizable gamemodes, and the official gamemodes are now:

  • First to 30 Chips: Be the first to win with 30 chips.

  • Six Rounds: Get the most kills during six rounds to win.

  • Three Strikes: The original mode. Win three rounds to win the match.

For additional variety, you can customize the win/stop condition, chip rewards and starting weapon:

On the topic of customization, we added settings for look sensitivity and field of view.

Visual overhaul

Grand Canyon becomes The Pit

We overhauled Grand Canyon with new props, better lighting and improved design.

Before

After

Better explosions 🧨

Explosive barrels got a new model, flashier explosions and a shockwave effect:
