RED FLAG Demo — Update 0.0.2
Steam Next Fest has been live for 5 days now, which means it’s time for an update!
Over the past few days, we’ve been actively releasing hotfixes, collecting feedback, and talking with players.
Ahead of the weekend, we’ve prepared a small demo update to version 0.0.2. It includes technical fixes, UI improvements, stability updates, and a few visual tweaks.
Thank you to everyone who plays, shares feedback, and helps us make RED FLAG better.
Gameplay
You can now raise both hands during voting. Yes, before this it was a bug, not a feature smile
If a player disconnects or leaves during a match, the session no longer breaks and the game continues. At least, breaking it is now much harder upside_down
Fixed crashes and disconnects that could happen when using a VPN or having an unstable network connection.
UI:
Adjusted font sizes and styles in Settings, the “How to Play?” section, and loading screen elements.
Added dark overlays for the characteristic reveal menus and voting progress bars.
In Spectator Mode, also known as Roach Mode, we removed the screen blur and the looping “Loading…” message.
Fixed an issue where the Settings menu opened with Esc could lose focus.
Map:
Fixed local lighting artifacts.
Updated textures in the radio room and living module.
Optimized the texture size across the entire map.
We’re still carefully watching your feedback and are already working on the next round of fixes.
Jump into the demo, invite your friends, and share your thoughts — there are only 3 days left until the end of the festival!
