Hi folks!

After finally getting to announce Recursive Ruin about a month ago, we wanted to give you all a bit of a look behind the scenes of the game.

But first, a question. Do you like sales? Of course you do. We'd like to point you in the direction of the Iceberg Interactive Publisher Sale, where you can get up to 90% off on Iceberg Interactive titles for the coming week!

Now, without further ado, let's get into Recursive Ruin.

Music

Music is incredibly important to us. In fact, both of us have PhDs in Music Informatics (an interdisciplinary field between computer science and music). We especially love weird music, which translates into the soundtrack of Recursive Ruin.

A look under the hood of how it all starts. We usually start by scribbling things on paper, then experimenting. And yes, "Piano thing" is an industry term. Trust us, we're doctors. If you haven't yet, listen to the music in our trailer to get a feel for the vibe we're going for.

Síoraíocht

A quick introduction to an important character in Recursive Ruin: Síoraócht. Síoraócht (affectionately nicknamed Bismuth Head by us) is the deity of the Infinite Realms. That black goo you see drooping from her head? Yeah, that's not good.

We can't go into much detail about Síoraócht without getting into spoiler territory, so we'll leave it at this for now.

Hopefully you enjoyed a quick little look under the hood! We may drop some more nuggets in the future.
