A lot has changed in my life in 2024, but I’m happy to say things have been improving. Now, let’s dive into the news:
Reborn a Zombie: Major Update
When? First half of 2025
What’s new?
The game will be playable in French.
Added game controller support.
A post-credits teaser that will tie into Reborn a Zombie 2.
I personally handled the translation, and while it was a lot of work, it was also a lot of fun. I hope this will allow more people to enjoy the story.
Reborn a Zombie 2 is also expected to receive a French translation.
Reborn a Zombie 2: Entwined Hearts is Progressing, but There’s Still Much to Do

Why the delay? Depression. I have a full-time job that demands a lot from me, and this passion project demands even more.

The Future of Reborn a Zombie and Asminae Games: Magii Archives
Initially, I planned to announce future games following Reborn a Zombie 2. However, the time required to create each game has made me cautious. What’s the point of announcing games if they might not be delivered?
That said, here’s what I can share:
Reborn a Zombie is part of Magii Archives, a shared universe encompassing all my future games. Think of it as a mix between the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Terry Pratchett’s Discworld in terms of continuity and shared universe.
Each new entry will stand alone but contribute to expanding this universe. Some will progress an overarching narrative, while others will explore fascinating aspects of this world.
Reborn a Zombie is the first series in this universe.
FAQ
Can I play games in any order I want? Unless a game is a direct sequel, each story is designed to be enjoyable as a standalone. However, playing other games in the Magii Archives will add depth to the experience, as the lore and major events will have repercussion across multiple entries.
Are all Magii Archives games going to be kinetic, slice-of-life visual novels? Not always. While the focus is on storytelling, I’m open to experimenting with gameplay styles.
Are all Magii Archives games going to be trans-themed? Reborn a Zombie was born out of my desire to share my experience as a trans person through storytelling. But writing is my passion, and I’m excited to explore a wide range of ideas and experiences in this universe.
What’s Next?
I won’t announce a game until its script is 100% complete. This ensures I can deliver high-quality stories and avoid making false promises.
One such project was Lamia Panic. Although the script was completed in March 2023, its flaws outweighed its strengths. I decided it was best used for worldbuilding instead of a standalone release.
That said, Reborn a Zombie 3 is very likely to happen. No promises yet, but it’s high on my list.
