Ratz Update 2.5.0

Hey, it's been a while!

In 2013, I had a sudden thought...

I wanted to see if I could put together a little online FPS in a short time.

Ratz 1.0 was released as a web game and the feedback I got was very good, so I just kept working on it. Then Steam introduced "Steam Greenlight" and I took my chance.

Two years later, Ratz Instagib 2.0 was born, the beginning of my career as a game developer.

And with time, an amazing community of fans started to form on Discord, keeping the game alive for years to come!

I can't thank you all enough! <3

In 2022, I partnered with the games publisher and developer Rarebyte, an incredible team that helped me push my second game Rogue Glitch to the next level and inspired me to give Ratz Instagib 2.0 another go!

So without further ado, I'm excited to bring you the Ratz Instagib 2.5.0 Update!

• Discord Live-Game-Browser

  View a live updated list of online games and join them directly through Discord. If you haven't already, join the community!

  

• 10 New Cosmetic Items

  Including 6 Rarebyte-themed items, with characters from their new game "We Are Screwed!"

  

• Restored Functionality of the Australian Server

• And a few minor but important additions

  • When searching for a game in Ratz, you will be asked to start a Bot game right away. This opens a public game that is visible in the Live-Game-Browser

  • Fixed a bug with the Steam Invite functionality

  • Added a Discord popup link to the game’s menu, so everyone can easily find the Ratz Community

• Also, the limited special cosmetics will be available to unlock again, for the next 3 months!
