Repeated intro

Hey, everyone! Long time since last news. So, the progress is going. Based on a demo i got pretty nice core mechanics of building and now working on expanding them. Also, spending couple of days per week for making visuals better.

What changed

  • Gameplay
changedAs you could notice, some buildings - Lumber, Barn, bridge, had their "building animations". I have to say, that im unable to keep them, because it's too time consuming in terms of development progress. I would like to expand the gameplay, so i've focused on creating mechanics rather than making those animations. Though, bridge and Shrine animations will stay.
addedAlso. For food production i've added Gardens, i think it's with apples. Consumes nothing, requires 2 people, produces 0.5 food per grade.
addedAnd the new food consumer, tier-2 resource - Farm. Needs 2 people (or 3, don't remember), consumes 2 food per grade, produces 1 leather per grade per MINUTE. Yea, i decided to make tier-2 resources not in thousands, but in units, for more control over tier-2 "economics"
changedAdventuresFinally, with Forge creation in Demo, the era of Adventures started. There will be dungeons, where you send your Hero (previously equipped in Forge) and he gets you items for developing your village. So the overall gameplay loop will not only consist of gaining levels and buying upgrades - some of this upgrades can be accessed through another activities.
addedAdventuresThat's all news for now, i'll come again later with something new C: Thanks for reading, thanks for playing cya

Instead of animations i've finally decided to remake building from scratch and started with Windmill Right now there are only 4 of 5 levels and level 4 already has roof customization.
