DevLog #7: Addition of the upgrade shop

These last couple of days I have been working mainly on improvements, bugfixes and the addition of a shop, where you will be able to buy upgrades for your twin-copter.

changedWhen you kill of an enemy asset, you will earny money. Use the money to buy needed upgrades in the shop.
changedHydra rocketsThese small rockets are pure fire and forget. They will travel on a direct path towards the ground. Objects in their way will get a decent amount of damage.
changedDefensive flaresDeploy these when you have an enemy missile on your tail. If you have full power and no damage, you will be able to dodge a missile, but if you're damaged it is safer to release some flares
changedUpgraded armourThese double kevlar platings will protect your aircraft from all kinds of fire. They will decrease the amount of damage you take when getting hit. Beware though, that the platings will decrease in sufficiency over time

The following upgrades will be available:

Hydra rockets

These small rockets are pure fire and forget. They will travel on a direct path towards the ground. Objects in their way will get a decent amount of damage.

AIM-9 Sidewinder

Air-to-air missile which will home in on enemy aircraft within a certain distance

Defensive flares

Deploy these when you have an enemy missile on your tail. If you have full power and no damage, you will be able to dodge a missile, but if you're damaged it is safer to release some flares

Upgraded armour

These double kevlar platings will protect your aircraft from all kinds of fire. They will decrease the amount of damage you take when getting hit. Beware though, that the platings will decrease in sufficiency over time

Mark MK-82

Unguided glide bomb, which will do a lot of damage to all ground structures

AGM-65 Maverick

Optical guided ground missile, which will home in on any active enemy structure. Do a fair amount of damage to light structures

Increased capacity

With this hull expansion set, you will be able to carry more weapons on your missions

CBU-1 Cluster bomb

A mean bomb which will deploy many small unguided glide bomblets, which will do a lot of damage and secondary damage to all structures

Only the hydra and Mark MK-82 boms will be available in the demo version, which will be released on 9th june at the Steam Game Festival - Summer edition.
