75% off for the holidays, and some seaonal reflection

What a year it's been. Since we launched Radiant Crusade, most of the team moved on to other projects, and while it's been sad to see them go, it also gave me the time to reflect on what I wanted to do as a developer.

addedWhat a year it's been. Since we launched Radiant Crusade, most of the team moved on to other projects, and while it's been sad to see them go, it also gave me the time to reflect on what I wanted to do as a developer. Radiant Crusade was a major learning experience for me, and represented a whole lot of firsts. This was my first shipped game, and reworking it in VR made my first development experience in VR. From inception to shipping, I was the one who called the shots, and as such, it was my first opportunity to lead and direct a project, which turned out to be larger in scope than I could have anticipated. For everyone of my success, I concede to just as many failures. It turns out that shipping a game is serious business, and while I can't call this game a financial or critical success, I can comfortably call it an experiential success. Given all this, I hope anyone reading this can take a moment to appreciate what it means to be an indie working on a project from a place of passion. While it is evident from the reviews that there is a lot that could be improved, as a first, it is a piece of work I am very proud of. Taking all of the learning put into the game, I am now hard at work with a new game called The King's Derby. I don't have too much to say about it right now, but it is coming and shaping to be a pretty amazing piece of work, put together by a team of extremely passionate artists and developers alike. If you're interested in the work I do, give me a follow on Twitter, or better yet, show your support by buying a copy of this game. All the best, prvncher
