Race of the Nine Worlds changes
In this article we tried to answer the main questions about the game, our plans and future development. Steam post image
1. About the Game
Q: What’s this game about? A: A dynamic arcade racer with adventure elements, inspired by classic racing games and 2000s sci-fi cartoons. Players compete in interplanetary races for control of the universe, using unique vehicles and magical abilities.
Q: Target audience? A: Arcade racing fans, sci-fi lovers, and all-age players (E rating).
2. Gameplay & Features
Q: What makes this racing game unique? A: Blends arcade racing with deep character stories, interactive tracks (Serpent Seals), and a narrative-driven campaign. Q: What are Serpent Seals? A: Track objects that dynamically alter races (speed boosts/obstacles).
Q: How does gameplay work? A: Races span diverse planets. Players drift, boost, and use racer-specific abilities (tactical arcade-style).
Q: How many racers/tracks? A: Launch: 9 racers, each with unique vehicles/abilities/storylines. Tracks are grouped into biomes (3–5 per biome: cities, deserts, icy wastes, etc.).
Q: Multiplayer? A: Now, the local split-screen mode (for 2 players) is available, and the full online mode is in development.
Q: Controller support? A: Xbox gamepads supported. No wheel support (vehicles are too diverse).
3. Story & World
Q: Who is Balt? A: The fox-like alien protagonist from the Rinki tribe, racing to change the universe’s fate.
Q: What’s the story? A: Balt’s journey across nine worlds, facing rivals and unraveling the Great Serpent’s motives.
Q: Player choices? A: Linear campaign, but relationships with racers unlock rewards/lore.
