changedWhy does it still feel "mobile"?Fair point. UI density and reward flow carry over from mobile. We're not redesigning from scratch, but we are looking at what needs to change to feel less out of place on PC.
changedWhy are the races so short? That's how the game was designed originally. That said, we've already been building longer event formats on mobile, and we're looking at how those could work on Steam too.
changedWhat about AI difficulty?Easy and Normal are meant to be forgiving. Hard and Extreme are where the actual challenge is.
changedWhat about AI difficulty? We'll keep an eye on how the balance feels specifically on Steam after launch.
changedIs there a proper tutorial coming? We are reviewing onboarding clarity and input visibility improvements for future updates.

📌Let’s Talk: FAQ

We’ve read the feedback. A lot of it. And we want to clarify a few common questions.

Is this just a mobile port?

Technically, yes. Race Max Pro started on mobile. But the Steam version isn't just a straight copy-paste. We're reworking controls, pacing, and parts of the presentation to make it feel right on PC.

The core game is the same. How it plays on your setup is what we're changing.

Why does it still feel "mobile"?

Fair point. UI density and reward flow carry over from mobile. We're not redesigning from scratch, but we are looking at what needs to change to feel less out of place on PC.

It's a work in progress.

🎮 Gameplay & Driving

Is the driving model changing?

A full physics redesign is not planned. The driving model is deeply tied to a lot of other systems, so rebuilding it isn't on the table right now.

However, we are reviewing steering responsiveness and control sensitivity to improve the game's feel on PC.

Why are the races so short?

That's how the game was designed originally. That said, we've already been building longer event formats on mobile, and we're looking at how those could work on Steam too.

Nothing confirmed yet, but it's something we're actively thinking about.

What about AI difficulty?

Easy and Normal are meant to be forgiving. Hard and Extreme are where the actual challenge is.

We'll keep an eye on how the balance feels specifically on Steam after launch.

Is there a proper tutorial coming?

We’ve received feedback that some controls (such as gear shifting) were not clearly communicated.

We are reviewing onboarding clarity and input visibility improvements for future updates.

🎮 Controls & Input

We've seen the threads about acceleration mapping, key remapping, and controller navigation in menus. These are all on our radar.

We are reviewing control standards and customization options for the future to better align with PC expectations.

💰 Monetization & Systems

Will there be a fuel system on PC?

Race Max Pro is planned as a free-to-play title on Steam.

In the free-to-play structure, systems such as fuel and event entry pacing are part of the core progression model. At this stage, the Steam version is planned to include these systems.

We understand that this is a debated topic, and we will continue monitoring feedback after release.

Are there forced ads?

No forced ads on Steam.

Will blueprints still be the main progression system?

Yes. Blueprints are a foundational part of the game’s economy and progression system.

The upgrade structure and car development systems are built around this model, and that structure remains.

Will monetization be different on PC?

The free-to-play model stays. What we're reviewing is how the store is presented and how progression feels, we don't want it to feel aggressive.

But we're not making any promises we can't keep yet.

🎯 Competitive & Future Content

Clan systems are in development. Tournaments and expanded competitive features are things we want to build toward.

We'll share more when there's actually something concrete to share.

💵 Pricing

Free to play at launch. There may be optional editions or DLC-style content down the line, but the base game won't cost anything.

If anything major changes about that, we'll tell you well in advance. This won't be the last post like this. If you've got questions we didn't cover, or you think we missed the point somewhere, drop it in the comments. We'd rather hear it than not.
