In order to trigger this function:

  1. Left click on the R00000 game icon in your game library list

  2. Select "Properties..." option

  3. In the new pop-up window select "General"

  4. In the "Launch options" text box enter "--enable-windowed"

  5. Launch the game. It should start in windowed mode. You will also have a new option in the game menu to switch between windowed and fullscreen modes
