Repeated intro
Hello again, here's hoping everyone enjoyed Steam Next Fest and found plenty of games to look forward to! While there's still plenty of work to be done on some of the non-demo content, I am trying to also sprinkle in some user requests as I'm able so that you can get a more accurate image of the final game. To that end, here's a look at what's in the latest update and what's to come, and special shoutout to Chris Martin, differentdiff, and 15-151 for their suggestions which made it into this update:
What changed
- UI and audio
Quod Erat Demonstrandum changes
What's changed
Improved timing for the mouseover tooltip for rules
Wide view option for propositions and rules. Should keep most propositions on screen, and will always keep all Rules on screen
Detailed view option for Rules. See all information about a rule in the rule list area, at the cost of precious space
Click to toggle option (via right click) for mouse users
Meta: versioned updates. You can see what version you're on in the options screen.
What's coming next
Better in-game explanations, reference sheets, less jargon, etc
Dark mode? I'll at least look into it, it got some mentions in the feedback form
Better narrative features, e.g., levels constructed from the conclusions of prior levels and gated on their completion
Everything needed for the full game launch
