Mines

Mines are a new note type that explode if you hit them. Hitting a mine counts as a miss and will reduce your health and combo.

1-10 Key Support

As highly requested, Quaver now supports 1-10 Key Game Modes.

These new game modes are currently unranked, so you will not be able to gain performance rating for them.

If you are a donator, you will still be able to view and compete on unranked scoreboards for them — similar to the scoreboards for unranked & unsubmitted maps.

MacOS Native Support

Quaver now runs natively on Macs running M-Series chips, which improves boot times and performance even further. There is also a "Prefer macOS Input Handling"option in-game to allow inputs to not be FPS bound (use the Limit FPS type with it).

New Additions

  • Added an "explicit" filter for maps in the download screen.

  • Added the ability to filter clan ranked maps in the download screen.

  • Added clan tags in the chat and on scoreboards.

  • Added letterboxing option for the gameplay playfield.

  • Added the ability to scale your scroll speed with the song playback rate.

  • Added the ability customizable long note missed release judgement.

  • Added a new mini progress bar element.

  • Added a slider to tweak how much long notes lengths are shrunk.

  • Added an option to change the editor skin. The gameplay and editor skins are now separate.

  • Added a button to sync map metadata across an entire mapset in the editor.

  • Added per map scroll speed overriding.

  • Added an epilepsy warning for scroll velocity maps.

  • Improved the tournament viewer when spectating more than two players.

  • Quaver files now have icons and you can now open them directly with the game.

  • You can now import and export entire playlists to the game.

  • Added various skinning changes, improvements, and fixes.

  • A lot of skinning changes improvements & fixes

  • Added a keybind to reset map offset.

  • Added a keybind to change the audio pitch toggle.

  • Added a keybind to remove all modifiers.

  • Various performance improvements game-wide.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed chat messages overlapping.

  • When play testing a map, you now return back to the editor.

  • Replay controls no longer cause weird issues when clicked before the audio starts

  • When audio source disconnects, the game will now pick the next available source

  • Refreshing maps no longer change the Date Added

  • When downloading a map, the game will automatically select the next map in the list.

  • Fixed the seek bar not updating properly after modifier change.

  • & many more!
