changedREWORKED Ascension wave spawns. They will now be much more consistent. So fewer easy waves, and fewer crazy hard waves. NEW puzzle levels! These are optional and unlocked after beating the game. Some of these will prove very tricky and require clever use of different card mechanics.
fixedFIXED long card tooltips spilling off the top of the screen. FIXED soft locks that could be caused by using consumable cards with Reprogram. FIXED stars not updating when unlocking new decks on level select.
changedNEW effect flag: CHAINED This is something that applies to TRIGGER effects and has always been in the game, but now I'm just clarifying it on each card rather than having people guess. TRIGGERS normally resolve in a new chain, but some TRIGGER effects chain directly to the effect that "triggered" them. This difference will now be written on the cards in the form of the CHAINED flag. The difference usually doesn't matter, but sometimes it does :D
addedNEW card: Taser NEW card: Ambush NEW card: Rupture These new generic cards are here to replace ClawTrap and Shatter in the white rarity tier. Read the next few lines to see why.
Level23Level increased, buffHealth64Health decreased, nerfHealth53Health decreased, nerf

CrossCode is an incredible game. For those who have not tried it, I highly recommend! It's a game with incredible care, attention, and detail in it. Playing it is such a wholesome experience <3

Now to the other changes:

Game

REWORKED Ascension wave spawns. They will now be much more consistent. So fewer easy waves, and fewer crazy hard waves. NEW puzzle levels! These are optional and unlocked after beating the game. Some of these will prove very tricky and require clever use of different card mechanics.

FIXED long card tooltips spilling off the top of the screen. FIXED soft locks that could be caused by using consumable cards with Reprogram. FIXED stars not updating when unlocking new decks on level select.

Cards

NEW effect flag: CHAINED This is something that applies to TRIGGER effects and has always been in the game, but now I'm just clarifying it on each card rather than having people guess. TRIGGERS normally resolve in a new chain, but some TRIGGER effects chain directly to the effect that "triggered" them. This difference will now be written on the cards in the form of the CHAINED flag. The difference usually doesn't matter, but sometimes it does :D

NEW card: Taser NEW card: Ambush NEW card: Rupture These new generic cards are here to replace ClawTrap and Shatter in the white rarity tier. Read the next few lines to see why.

NERF ClawTrap. Rarity white -> green. NERF Shatter. Rarity white -> green. Shatter and ClawTrap are old cards, made before there were many other cards to compare them to. Now that there are other cards, the power they provide is way out of line for common cards. Their effects are cool though, so just moving them up to a rarity tier that better reflects their power.

BUFF Afterburner. Rarity blue -> white.

NERF Potentia. Max attack buff now 5. Plz stop stacking attack buffs T.T The bosses get so sad when they don't get to play ; ; FIX Valeria. Can now select 0 cards for her effect even if there is only 1 spell in the deck. FIX Valeria. Level 2 -> 3 FIX Camilla. Had issues with infinite loops with cards like Unity. Should no longer happen.

NERF Ishida+. Health 6 -> 4. NERF Chiyo+. Health 5 -> 3. FIX Saigo card text. Properly specifies it copies the "original" effect.

FIX Violette. The details are complicated, but basically, the card should work more consistently now :)

FIX Miki. Now shuffles deck after searching.

FIX Spear blood. Does not need to be ONCE and UNIQUE. Just ONCE is fine since ONCE implies UNIQUE.

ADJUST Greed algo. Now gives you an extra card on turn draw and mills two cards from your deck. Still take damage if there are no cards in the deck. Algo cards in storage are supposed to be kinda awkward to play, but Greed's old storage effect was way too awkward compared to the other algos, this change is trying to bring it more in line.

UPDATE Serenity image. Yay pretty! ADJUST Serenity. Now uses its own special counters rather than generic counters. The new CrossCode deck has LOTS of ways to manipulate counters
