We recently made some small quality of life changes, as well as making level one look a lot better. Also, we hopefully made the game run better, as a lot of players were experiencing lower FPS than intended
Changes/removed/added content
Level 1 -Adjusted SFX frequency to reduce audio distortion -Added animated clouds -Revamped level 1 city and tutorial zones with new sidewalk models -Added more collisions for level 1 -Near the statue at the beginning, various pieces of foliage (flowers, bushes) are now animated -Lowered some props in the level that were floating above the ground
Level 2 -Added Official models for the tubes in level 2 -Improved polycount for several models in level 2 -Moved the transition to level 2 into the ship’s mouth -Added an indicator for the falling rats in level 2
Misc -Changed background on main menu and ending cutscene to be more visually appealing for larger screen sizes
Bugs fixed -Fixed a bug that caused the framerate on level 2 to be lower than expected -Fixed a bug that caused falling rats in level 2 to generate resources that were never deleted -Fixed a bug that allowed the game to be paused during the player’s death - Fixed camera angle in certain sections to stop the enemies from going off the screen - Fixed bug where the NPCs in the colosseum didn’t spawn
Balance The Molerat wasn’t working as intended, so we adjusted him Added knockback to rat explosions Adjusted rat AI to stop exploding if the player gets too far away
