PUNCH ARENA changes
Honestly? We asked ourselves this question a lot during development.
There are plenty of multiplayer games out there. There are plenty of roguelites. There are plenty of casual punch-em-up experiences.
But we couldn't find one that combined all three in a way that felt right to us.
So we tried to build it ourselves.
The Extending Punch Mechanic
It sounds simple and that's the point. One button, one punch, but the reach, timing, and direction create endless mind games between players. It's easy to pick up, but once you're in a real match, you start realizing how much depth hides behind that one mechanic.
Round-Based Upgrades
Between every round, you make choices. Not overwhelming ones, clear, impactful ones. Do you go for speed? Range? Defensive builds? Something weird you've never tried before? Those decisions shape how the rest of the match plays out, and no two players end up the same.
Multiplayer Roguelite
This is the part we're most excited about. The "one more run" feeling of roguelites but you're not playing against AI. You're adapting your build, reading your opponents, and trying to out-think real people in real time. That combination doesn't really exist yet. We want PUNCH ARENA to be that game.
We're a small team building something we genuinely want to play. That's the most honest answer we can give.
If that sounds like your kind of game, wishlist us on Steam, it helps more than you know. PUNCH ARENA
