Also, The First Annual End of year Pulseball tournament will take place January 2nd, 2021 @ 8PM EST

This isn’t supposed to be a super serious event, let'S just have fun. I will be presenting it as if it were a real sports broadcast with goofs and gaffs along the way. The whole thing will be informal and live streamed on twitch.

The schedule goes as follows:

• Introduction @ 8pm eastern standard time

• Competitor interviews: Short mock interviews with each competitor over discord. (you can opt-out of this if you like)

• Tournament begins: I am planning on it being a small event, so we will just do each match one at a time. Standard tournament style, winners advance to the next round until there is only one winner. Anyone should be able to watch in the game or on the stream.

• Award Ceremony

Match Rules:

• 1V1 Matches for 10 min

• 1x Power levels, Gravity on. Standard ball weight

• If a bug is encountered, it is customary to say “wow the dev sucks”

• The player with the most game time in Pulseball will be considered to have the “home field advantage” they will have the option to host the game they participate in.

Awards:

1. Everyone will get a new participation achievement on steam.

2. The grand poobah winner will receive a custom character of their choosing within a few weeks of the tournament. They can choose whether to keep it for themselves or make it available and share it with the rest of the community.

I will be pushing an update this weekend adding Twitch + spectator support, as well as a new game mechanic possibly. Feel free to stream the event yourself if you wish to do so.
