Major Performance Enhancement Patch v1.0.8.8
Building on the v1.0.8.x performance improvements, this version accomplished major project cleanup and performance analysis.
Reduced geometry complexity 100x through find-replace of meshes with optimized geometry.
Simplified and scaled down various particle systems.
Removed a large number of disabled or unused game objects that were left behind during prototyping and experimentation.
Removed debug code and disabled console messages that may have contributed to performance reduction.
Upgraded several core Unity assets to the latest versions.
Applied Mesh Combiner Studio to Pulsar scene intro geometry. Updated Timelines to control enable and disable of new "Cell" groups. Rebaked lighting. Reduced avg drawcalls to 140 with spikes to 430 during gravity ring approach.
Deleted ALL test or NOTUSED game objects from all scenes.
