Pulsar changes
It's been a while since I last gave an update on what I've been doing and it's been a busy few months indeed!
Pulsar is now everything I had wanted, it originally started as a personal project and being a more old fashoned player I prefer to keep media on my own PC which means I rarely use services like Spotify and others. I made what became Pulsar as a 7 day challenge and it exploded in scope from there during development in the months following into the game it is today.
Snowpult which followed was a similar situation, I wanted to learn all of the processes and skills needed as a solo developer to publish a game, improve on it based on player feedback and everything else in between.
Pulsar and Snowpult suffered from one problem, they were limited by how they were started and that's where Warbound comes in.
Warbound was not born from a personal challenge or aimed towards skill building but is something entirely new.
So what is Warbound?
Warbound is a strategy game which combines roguelike aspects with side scroller mechanics with a pinch of turret defense. If you've ever played games such as Age of War or Halo Wars you'll be familiar with some of the games ideology and Warbound combines the tech tier upgrades of games like Age of War with the strategy of conventional RTS games to create something new.
I'm planning to begin playtests in the upcoming months to give players some insight into the game and also gather feedback on what works well and most importantly what does not, Warbound is also aimed at being supported on Steam Deck so it will be a game which players can play whilst on the go.
