Public Fears - George's Farm changes
First of all Id like to thank everyone who has played the game left comments and provided feedback
Since the games release while some players have enjoyed the atmosphere and storytelling others have noted that it takes a long time to reach the farm
At this poind I’d like to talk a bit about the games design philosophy
Public Fears George’s Farm was not designed to be a fast paced horror game while developing the game I drew inspiration from old school retro horror experiences and the pacing of road movies. My goal was not to constantly subject the player to scary scenes, but rather to make the journey itself part of the experience and let the story unfold gradually
That’s why the journey to the farm makes up a significant part of the game. I didn’t place most of the game’s horror elements at the beginning. As the story progresses after the player reaches the farm and spends a few days there events gradually begin to shift and take on a more unsettling tone
Of course every players expectations are different and I continue to read all the feedback Your opinions are very valuable to me and I’m continuing to work on the game
