All the new features coming to PROPHUNT

Hello everyone, we're going to show you all the features that are coming to PROPHUNT. First of all, we are migrating the project to Unreal Engine 5 the brand new game engine from Epic Games more powerful than ever.

Hello everyone, we're going to show you all the features that are coming to PROPHUNT.

addedFirst of all, we are migrating the project to Unreal Engine 5 the brand new game engine from Epic Games more powerful than ever. This migration includes significant performance boosts as well as a dramatic improvement to the game's lighting system that simulates lights in real time! The improved lighting system will allow us to integrate night mode game maps for more strategy and in-game possibilities.
addedA brand new map will appear in the map pool: the "Castle" map. We will show you more about it later.
addedIn addition, many gameplay mechanics have evolved but will also be added:
changedthe anti AFK for props comes out of its BETA phase and will now be activated by default on all games.
addedthe props are getting two new gameplay mechanics that are the dynamic noises in game controlled by a customizable soundboard and a double jump (option available during the game setup).
addedWe have also made a facelift of the user interfaces by making them more modern and cleaner. They are now fully optimized, stable and a new font is used to make it easier for us to translate the game into other languages later. Not to mention the code and networking which we have significantly optimized to avoid in-game slowdowns and server saturation.

In addition, many gameplay mechanics have evolved but will also be added:

We have also made a facelift of the user interfaces by making them more modern and cleaner. Finally, we have fixed many recurring bugs that are harmful to the game experience:

  • fixed an issue that prevented clients from playing a firework again

  • fixed an issue where an assigned key was deleted and could not be reassigned

  • added checks when assigning a new key to prevent setting problems

  • fixed an issue that prevented hunters from spawn in some circumstances

  • fixed a problem that prevented the swap of teams to be done correctly

And much more very soon to be seen in PROPHUNT!
