Repeated intro
Hey everyone! Welcome back to another Project Vesperi Steam Update. We wanted to take this week’s update to share some of the highly requested features that we’ve added into the upcoming full release of Project Vesperi based on your player feedback from our Student Demo. Let’s dive in!

Gameplay Feature Additions
Ultrawide Support
To all of our ultrawide players out there, including our own producer, your cinematic experience will no longer be stretched to fit your display or be contained by black bars! Project Vesperi will now run natively in ultrawide 21:9 resolutions at launch across gameplay and cinematics.
Character Names In Subtitles
We heard from players that it might be easier to follow subtitles if character names were attached, so we enabled them by default. You can toggle this setting on or off at any time.
Camera Shake Toggle
Due to popular demand, we’ve added a camera shake toggle in the settings for those who want to crush our director’s dreams, and for those who just need the camera to sit still so the game can be enjoyed.
Technical Feature Additions
Steam Deck Support
For the brave researchers going where no one has gone before, playing on Linux and on Steam Deck, rest assured that we’ve ironed out Steam Deck performance. When your Steam Deck is detected, the graphics settings and resolution will adjust as needed so that your adventure on Venus will be smooth, stable, and portable!
Steam Cloud Support
And speaking of playing Project Vesperi on the go, we’ve now added Steam Cloud Support so you can pick up right where you left off from any device.
Raytracing Support
We’ve cranked High and Epic settings even higher with raytracing, now included in Project Vesperi. For those with the hardware, this feature can be turned on or off based on your performance preferences.
Accessibility Feature Additions
Unlimited Time for Dialogue Choices
We’ve implemented a toggle to allow for infinite decision times for those who need it, and for those who’d like to take their time to look things up mid-decision– hey, we play these games too, you know! Feel free to toggle this option on or off in the settings if you need, or in case you want to chea– take your time with decisions…
Quick Time Event (QTE) Accessibility Features
We also added a couple of QTE accessibility features, such as a toggle that removes the guesswork and allows for a single button press QTE selection, as well as a toggle that allows for the autocompletion of quick time events entirely.
We really appreciate all the feedback that you’ve provided from playing our Student Demo. We’re excited to get Project Vesperi into your hands with this updated set of features next month!
