Gene Crawl: Patch Notes v1.0.2

Forge: Auto-Upgrade

  • Added an Auto-Upgrade toggle to the Forge. When on, it automatically spends your materials to upgrade your equipped gear, always choosing the cheapest available upgrade first.

The attack bar finally feels alive

  • Clicking the attack bar now gives a better feedback. Extra clicks instantly show as a charging segment on the bar, the bar glows brighter the more you've queued up.

  • Queued attack-bar clicks now apply about twice as fast, so manually charging your attack is more responsive.

Forge materials no longer vanish

  • The Forge materials list now shows everything you own. Materials you no longer have a use for (every recipe crafted and maxed) are simply dimmed and moved to the end instead of disappearing, so nothing looks "lost."

  • Beating the final boss and entering New Game+ no longer wipes your crafting materials, your forge loot carries over, so you keep what you farmed. (Brewery stock, relics, upgrades and dungeon progress still reset, as before.)
