Repeated intro
Hello everyone!
What changed
- Gameplay
- UI and audio
- Fixes
Hope you're all having a great day, and I hope that you've all been able to check out the newly released soundtrack! I know that everyone involved, in particular Jacob Noska and Jonah Henthorne, worked incredibly hard to get this haunting collection of recording together, and we're all so excited to finally have that music out there for all of you to listen through!
I've been reading all of the comments and reviews you all have, as well as watching streams and let's plays of the game to see where things can be improved, and I'm coming here with some new patches and features that, while small on their surface, definitely lend to a much smoother experience!
The changes to version 1.2.0 are as follows...
Added current goal tracking UI! Now, you can view your current objective in the pause menu at any time. This also allowed some extra little narrative details which I had a great time thinking up!
Improved enemy stealth, patrol, and chase behaviors. You can now more easily lose enemies and hide away after aggroing an enemy, making stealth a much more viable option (especially useful on survival difficulty).
Improved Axe Blocking Logic so that blocks will now register much more accurately than before.
Improved some minor lighting in the office space for visual clarity
Fixed some enemy sightline issues in Act II
Fixed Day 2 loading issue.
Sorry that this update was a bit slower to get out. In a bit of a small life update, I got a new puppy! So I've been doing my duties as a dog dad and making sure she's happy and healthy :).
It's been great getting Project Songbird into a better and better state every day, so thank you all for helping me to find all of these points to address!
Until next time!
Conner
