I'm so excited for the start of Steam Next Fest, and I hope you all are gonna be busy playing some incredible demos by some incredible developers!

A lot has been done with Project Songbird since the release of the Faceless Teaser, so I wanted to finally push some of those updates here! The changes in version 1.0.16 are as follows...
Rebalancing of player controls and combat
Enemy AI improvements
Adjustments to inventory controls
Adjustments to tutorial UI
Slightly increased flashlight brightness
Changed flashlight input control (now F on PC and R3 on Gamepad)
Changed painkiller input control on PC (now C)
Swapped out some SFX for axe
Changed text to reflect official release date
Updated in-build trailer to the new release date announcement trailer
Some minor bug fixes
General optimization and compression
Plus, another update (1.1.0) will be coming prior to Next Fest, which will include...
Enemy model redesigns
Enemy animation reworking (more to come)
Thank you all so much for all of the overwhelming support recently! Wishlists have been on a steady incline for the past month or so, and it feels like everything is finally coming together!
Can't wait to see you all on March 26th, 2026 when Project Songbird finally releases on Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S
