addedSteamworksSteam Cloud Saves Now Project Rhombus supports Steam Cloud Saves. Your progress will be stored to the Steam server from now on. IMPORTANT : Please make sure that you've enabled Steam Cloud synchronization on your Steam client settings!
changedSteam StoreDescription There were a lot of controversy about the genre of this game, so we've modified the description to avoid further misunderstanding. Before : Project Rhombus is a rhythm game that (...) After : Project Rhombus is a rhythm-based casual action game that (...)
changedIn-gameSync Adjusted the sync of the music on the hidden stage.
addedSystemConfiguration As your wish! We've added a new 'page' in the game where you could turn things on and off. The options contains the following items: Display mode toggle You can change between Windowed and Fullscreen mode. Music volume indicator You can modulate the Music volume. SFX volume indicator You can modulate the SFX(Sound Effects) volume. Solid background toggle Eyes too hurt? Now you can turn on or off that blinky background. (This abandons the key feature of the game, but we decided to add this option for those who actually suffer from photosensitive epilepsy. Thank you to all who pointed this out.) Restart music from the beginning (or not) Are you confused because of the music starting at the random point? Turn this on, then it'll always start from the beginning. (We recommend you to turn this off when you're tired of starting over. We believe that little randomness will help you enjoy this game with a light heart.)

In-game

  • Notes ("Arrows") We've loosen the timing a bit, and it'll allow you a few tenths of a second before the arrow makes contact on you. So you won't fail if you press the buttons quickly enough. But still, it won't be enough for pressing the buttons along the beat. (We're sorry, but this is uncompromisable. We do not want to change it like other common rhythm games.)

  • Sync Adjusted the sync of the music on the hidden stage.

And that's all for now! The developers are keep working on this title, and we hope to be able to deliver another news to you ASAP. Until then, take care!
